Now 8th grade daughter – wow – so proud of her – she inspires me every day – I just look at her beauty – her inner light – and know that God is with her so intently. She will do great things. She has a beautiful heart. So…we were looking on Pottery Barn Teen for some locker accessories for her, after we realized we better “chop chop” because the first day of school is – gasp – quickly approaching. She picked out a really pretty locker organizer – purple/blue/paisley…really beautiful. Then we saw the cool, “pool” twinkly lights – then we saw the price! Gasp! They were about $16. I am not usually frivolous with money. My daughters know that because they witness it. So, my sweet daughter said, “Oh, mom, never mind, that’s crazy! 16 dollars???” I looked at her, realized we’d never pass this way again, and clicked “add to cart” 🙂 Her pretty little face lit up way prettier than those lights! We even got the matching magnetic hooks AND quick shipping! When it was all done, I hugged her and said, “You are only an 8th grader once! And you deserve it!” She was so happy. I loved that whole experience with her!
